The Intel Macs will be able to run Windows (not
vice versa, though), but what an odd state of
affairs.

Apple claims that it's partly because IBM/Motorola
failed to come up with G5 laptop chip they could
keep cool - like as if laptops will never run faster
than 3Ghz. What happens when 4/5Ghz becomes the
standard: same problem. What happens when dual
Xeon workstations became the standard: the end
of laptops?

Actually no I work with people which I feel is a heel of alot worse than computers but hey I could be wrong...

been told that Apple have abandoned IBM in favour
of Intel chips. No joke.

Yeah! I deal with people 5 days a week, you meet some good ones but then you meet alot of arrogant twats who are so far up themselves its not funny, which bearing in mind I still have a bit of a Rock n'Roll attitude (as in go fuck youself asshole) makes for an interesting confrontation. At least computers can be switched off. Or thrown out the window!
